Lady Caroline - Original Oil Painting
a lot of the work was done with a very small brush to get it just right.
I sketched the face first to make sure that the profile was in proportion....which a lot of my paintings I usually do not do. It was then blocked in first with a turpentine wash. The next stage was all underpainting. I then worked on the face and hair until I was happy with the final picture.

Hand sculptured Wall Mural with Decorative Finishes
I have attached a few more of my plaster wall art creations. They are worked on directly onto the wall.
This wall picture was mostly freehand, the lion in the centre I cast that in plaster from a old door knocker that I had lying around. Some of the larger flowers on the top of the pot are real flowers from the garden but dipped in plaster first to preserve them. Then I blended them all in together. I finished off the mural with Acylic Paints
Part of this design is made of a mould, from a old potplant that I had in the garden.. The rest of the design is freehand. I then add the effects in Acrylic Paints, then I sealed the finished product.
